If you sell tickets through SeatGeek, enabling API access lets your account sync directly with SeatGeek streamlining order fulfillment. Follow the steps below to set it up.
Step 1: Log into your SeatGeek account
Go to seatgeek.com and log in with your seller credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to your team's season ticket page
Go to the team or venue account manager page that you want to enable API access for. The URL will look something like: https://seatgeek.com/[team-name]
You can also go to your name in the top right corner and click "My Account". Then go to "Connected Accounts" to see all your team/venue accounts.
Step 3: Switch to Advanced Settings
In the URL bar, change the end of the address from your team name to advanced-settings. For example:
Before:
https://seatgeek.com/commandersAfter:
https://seatgeek.com/commanders/advanced-settings
Step 4: Enable API access
On the Advanced Settings page, toggle the API on.
Step 5: Generate your API token
Click Generate SeatGeek API Token. This will navigate you to the Tickets page and you'll see an option to "Generate Token" (you may need to refresh the page). When prompted to select a use case, choose Other.
Step 6: Copy your API token
Copy the generated token — you'll need it in the next step.
Step 7: Add the token to your SeatGeek Purchasing account
Log into your Sync account and navigate to your Accounts page. Filter for the corresponding SeatGeek account and click "edit". Paste the API token into the appropriate field.
IMPORTANT: If you have multiple teams / venues
You must repeat Steps 2–4 (enabling API) for every team / venue account manager page in your account. The good news: the API token itself is the same across all teams, so you only need to generate and enter it once in Sync — you just need to make sure API is toggled on for each team/venue individually.
NOTE:
SeatGeek now requires two-factor authentication to log in. Make sure email forwarding is enabled on your SeatGeek seller account or our team will not be able to access the account directly. Please review Listing and Fulfillment Automation for assistance with email forwarding.
