Preloading Delivery Links with the URL Stock Type

Written by Ari Levi

Indy POS now has a new URL stock type. This allows you to preload delivery links onto your listings ahead of time, so you no longer need to upload them after the sale occurs. Once the links are attached, the link will be auto-delivered at the time of sale.

Depending on how your tickets were issued, you can add one URL for all seats or a unique URL for each seat!

Open the Assets Window

You can reach the URL options from the Inventory screen in two ways.

Option 1: From Seat Attributes

  1. Find the listing you want to update.

  2. Under the Seat Attributes column, click the URL icon.

Option 2: From Edit Inventory

  1. Scroll to the far right of the listing and click the ellipsis (⋯) icon.

  2. Select Edit Inventory from the dropdown menu.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the edit window to the Assets section.

URL for All Seats

Use this option when a single link delivers every ticket in the listing.

  1. Select URL for all seats.

  2. Paste your link into the Shared URL field.

  3. Click Save Changes.

Note: Because every ticket shares one link, the split type on this listing will default to No Splits. The tickets have to sell together meaning the tickets must sell together as a group. In addition to split restrictions, you will be unable to merge your listing if there is a single URL for multiple seats.

Unique URL for Each Seat

  1. Select Unique URL for each seat.

  2. You'll see a field for each seat in the listing. Paste the matching link into the URL field next to each Seat number.

  3. Click Save Changes.

Note: Each seat has its own link, so no split/merge restrictions apply. You keep full control over the listing's split and merge options.
