Viewing the Audit History in Indy

This procedure explains how to view and navigate the Audit History in Indy POS.

The Audit History allows users to review all actions performed on an inventory line, including updates to pricing, barcodes, purchases, and invoices. Recent feature enhancements also enable users to refine and filter results for more efficient review.

Notes

  • Audit History is read-only and cannot be modified.

  • Use this feature to verify data accuracy, monitor user activity, and troubleshoot discrepancies.

  • Filters and dropdown options help narrow your view to specific actions or audit types for faster navigation.

Access the Audit History

  • You can just navigate to the desired inventory line within Indy POS.

  • On the far-right side of the inventory, click the ellipsis (β‹―) icon.

  • Select Audits from the dropdown menu.


Expand Update Details

  • In the Audits pop-up window, click the bars on the left to expand specific update details.

  • On the right-hand side, view information showing what was changed, when, and by whom.


Select an Audit Category

  • Click the Inventory # Audit bar.

  • On the right side, open the Audit Field dropdown menu to choose which type of update history you want to view.

Examples:

  • Selecting Price Audit History displays all updates related to pricing, including the date, time, and user responsible.

  • The same applies to other categories such as Status, Quantity, or Details.


View Asset Audit History

  • Click Inventory # Assets to review the audit history for barcodes and PDFs associated with the inventory.


Review Related Audit Records

  • To view additional related histories, select:

    • Hold # – to view hold audit history.

    • Purchase # – to view purchase audit history.

    • Invoice # – to view payment and invoice activity.
