This procedure provides step-by-step guidance for mapping unmapped listings in Indy POS using the new Mapping Queue feature. The process allows users to efficiently map events at the event level rather than individually at the listing level.

Notes

  1. Double-check event details before mapping to avoid incorrect associations.

  2. If an event cannot be found in the suggested results, recheck spelling or adjust the date range.

  3. The Mapping Queue allows faster, event-level organization—reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.

Access Unmapped Listings

  • Hover over the POS tab in Indy.

  • Select Unmapped Listings from the dropdown menu.

Search for the Event

  • Enter the event name and date to narrow the search results.

  • For accurate results:

    • Set the From date to the event’s start date.

    • Set the To date to one day after the event ends.

    • Example: If the event runs December 19, set “From” to December 19 and “To” to December 20.

    Expand the Event Details

    • In previous POS versions, mapping occurred at the listing level.

    • In Indy, mapping now happens at the event level for greater efficiency.

    • Click the arrow icon in the upper-right corner to expand the event and display all tickets awaiting mapping.

  • Review Unmapped Tickets

    • Verify that the listed tickets belong to the correct event.

    • Once confirmed, click Map Event at the top of the page.

Keyword Search and Confirmation

  • Indy automatically searches for potential matches using:

    • The first word of the event name

    • The venue name

    • A date range covering one day before and one day after the event

  • Review the suggested events and manually confirm the correct one.

Select the Correct Event

  • If multiple results appear, carefully verify the following details before mapping:

    • Event name

    • Event date

    • Venue information

  • Click Map within the box of the appropriate event to finalize the mapping process.
