The Reports tab of Indy POS provides visibility into inventory activity and financial impact across your account. These reports help you track ticket holds, losses, deletions, and event-level performance.

There are four dedicated report categories:

  • Hold Reports

  • Expired Inventory Reports

  • Deleted Inventory Reports

  • Events Reports

Each report serves a different operational and accounting purpose.

Hold Reports

Purpose: Track inventory that has been temporarily reserved by marketplaces during a pending sale or placed on hold by our team.

What Is a Hold?

A hold occurs when a marketplace places tickets on temporary reserve while:

  • A customer completes checkout

  • Payment is being processed

  • The marketplace confirms availability

During this time:

  • The tickets are not available for sale elsewhere

  • The inventory remains in your account

  • The hold may either convert to a sale or be released

Why It Matters?

  • Monitor pending sales

  • Identify stuck or long-duration holds

  • Reconcile marketplace activity

  • Understand inventory temporarily unavailable for sale

2. Expired Inventory Reports

Purpose: Track inventory that was manually invoiced out as unsold.

What Is Expired Inventory?

Expired inventory occurs when:

  • An event has passed

  • Tickets did not sell

  • The user manually invoices the tickets out

  • The loss is recorded against your Profit & Loss (P&L)

This is an accounting action and impacts financial reporting.

Why It Matters

  • Accurately track unsold ticket losses

  • Maintain clean inventory records

  • Reconcile end-of-event accounting

  • Ensure accurate P&L reporting

Use this report for end-of-event reconciliation and loss tracking.

3. Deleted Inventory Reports

Purpose: Track inventory removed from the system.

What Is Deleted Inventory?

Deleted inventory includes tickets that were:

  • Manually deleted by a user

  • Removed by our team

  • Cleared due to listing errors or corrections

Deleted inventory does not automatically mean a financial loss β€” it simply reflects removal from active inventory.

Why It Matters

  • Audit user actions

  • Track operational changes

  • Review removed listings

  • Investigate discrepancies

This report is useful for internal controls and compliance tracking.

4. Events Reports

Purpose: View performance and inventory data for specific events listed through your site.

What Is Included?

Event-level data may include:

  • Event Name

  • Venue

  • Event Date

  • Total Inventory Listed

  • Tickets Sold

  • Remaining Inventory

  • Revenue

  • Profit / Loss

  • Listing details

Why It Matters

  • Analyze event performance

  • Measure sell-through rates

  • Track profitability by event

  • Inform pricing and buying strategy

This report is ideal for sales analysis and strategic planning.
