To enhance security we have implemented an additional layer of protection for your account. Effective December 18, 2024, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be required to log into Lysted and all other Automatiq products.
What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account by combining two types of verification. In addition to your password, you’ll need a unique code generated by an app or sent via SMS.
By combining your password with a verification code, MFA adds additional security that significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and helps keep your account safe.
MFA Options:
You will be automatically prompted to configure MFA when you log in. Please allocate a few extra minutes to complete the MFA setup process. When setting up MFA, you'll have a few different options to choose from.
SMS
Receive a one-time code directly to your mobile device via text message.
To set up MFA via SMS, enter your phone number when prompted. You will receive a verification code to your phone number via text message.
Enter this code into the input field and submit to complete your sign in.
You will be prompted to record a recovery code. If you ever lose this phone number, this recovery code will allow you to access your account and reset MFA. Be sure to record it and keep it in a safe place.
The next time you sign in, you will be automatically texted a new code, and required to enter it to proceed.
Authenticator App
Use a trusted app on your mobile device to generate a unique time-sensitive code.
To set up your authenticator app, you'll first need to download an app to your device. A few we recommend are Google Authenticator, Auth0 Guardian and Microsoft Authenticator.
The Auth0 Guardian App on iOS or android will also allow you to approve the login through a push notification to your device.
Once you have the app downloaded, there will be an area within the authenticator app to add an account.
You'll be prompted to scan a QR code, or enter a setup key.
If you select the authenticator app during the MFA setup process in Lysted, we will present the QR code to you for scan.
Be sure to scan this QR code from within the authenticator app. Using your cell phone camera alone will not work, it must be done from within the authenticator app.
If you prefer to not scan the code and add your Lysted account into the authenticator app by enter a setup key, pressing the "Trouble Scanning?" link will present the key to you.
Enter this key into your authenticator app to link your account.
You will be prompted to record a recovery code. If you ever lose this device, this recovery code will allow you to access your account and reset MFA. Be sure to record it and keep it in a safe place.
Once Lysted / Automatiq has been added as an account within your authenticator app, you'll be provided with a time sensitive code. Enter this code into the input field and submit to complete your sign in process.
The next time you sign in, you will be automatically prompted for this code. The code will always be visible within your authenticator app on your device.
Trusted Devices:
After configuring MFA, you can designate your device as "trusted" during the login process. This allows you to bypass the MFA process for 30 days, if you are logging in on the trusted device.
MFA for Shared Logins:
Please note that you can only link one phone number or authenticator app to your account. If your company shares a single Lysted login, you have a few options.
Use a virtual phone number accessible to all employees.
Use an authenticator app that supports configuration across multiple devices.
Manually share individual MFA codes with employees. You will only have to do this once every 30 days if they designate their devices as "trusted" during the login process.
